The warm, welcoming smile has moved up the ranks.
Since last autumn (2025), the Ange — a true haven of peace in medieval times, known as the "Auberge de l'Ange" — has been renovated and is now called the "Restaurant de l'Ange". More than just a café, of course, and without the beds and stables that the title "auberge/inn" would have implied, the new owner chose the name for its perfect reflection of the actual place and mission.
Regulars at the Stammtisch, our Knights of the Round Table, our Fribourg-Gottéron fans — all our customers will appreciate this change, which was carried out smoothly and while preserving the delicious food that everyone loved. The familiar smiles have returned, and long live the Restaurant de l'Ange!
